Corte Bella is Arizona's first age-restricted, gated, country club community. The mission style architecture inspired by homes in Santa Barbara, California and the lush landscaping give the community a different look for the "new seniors" target market.

The 717 acres have been purchased and are available for development in 3 phases with a total of 1850 homes upon completion. Located on Maricopa County land off Deer Valley and El Mirage roads, the community has easy access to Bell Road, Loop 101 and 303. At 717 acres, the community will be considerably smaller than any of the other Sun Cities, keeping with the Del Webb vision of a cozy, intimate Country Club atmosphere.

You can expect all the usual country club amenities, from Golf on the 18-hole championship course, by designer Greg Nash, posh Clubhouse, Fitness Club offering everything from aerobics and weight training to tennis and swimming. Facials and massages upon request. An on-site Activities Director is available to organize outside activities and excursions.

Corte Bella is a country club where friendship matters, not social standing. At the Social Club, you can meet friends for casual dining or spend a leisurely happy hour on the expansive patios overlooking the golf course.

Homes will be from 1,350 to 3,000 square feet with prices ranging from the low 200,000s to more than $300,000. You will find floor plans reflective of a wide range of lifestyles at Corte Bells, from living and dining rooms, to open great-room designs. Many of the lots and floor plans allow you to even add a detached casita or peaceful courtyard entryway.

Every resident is a member of a social club and has access to the private golf course. Monthly membership dues are expected to between $125 and $150.

Featuring the Golf Club with a 5,000-square foot pro shop and member's lounge, the club will serve a 7,000-yard championship golf course scheduled to open in January, 2004. The facility will be managed by Troon Golf. It will have 400 memberships available.

The 10,000 square-foot fitness center and spa will be the community's first amenity, scheduled to open in January, 2004. Outdoors, a combination lap and resort-style pool, spa and six lighted tennis courts are planned.

The 7,500 square-foot clubhouse, planned opening in January 2006, will be situated above the golf course. Members will play an active role in the clubhouse programming with activities planned around member interests.
